Michelle and Chris are long time friends of ours. We photographed their family at the Auckland Domain as they often spend time in this park. We captured them interacting and having fun together, the kids have lots of energy and enjoyed running around through the autumn leaves. It was the first time Michelle and Chris had family photos taken since having kids so we made an afternoon of fun for the three young ones which resulted in natural family photos that will be treasured forever.
It was lots of fun photographing Isla for her first birthday, she was so photogenic and would smile whenever we told her to clap her hands. As it was a miserable day outside Jade and I had fun turning the living area of her house into a pretty set, the natural light and airy feel was perfect for the indoor photography session.
We also captured the four generations of females in the Taylor family. This was a surprise for Jades grandma when we showed up at her house, she really loved the experience as its not often all the girls can get together for a special photo shoot. The funniest thing was the girls all wore polka dots and this was just a coincidence!
We had great fun photographing Jade and Rory and Rory's extended family as a Christmas gift to the parents. It was a lovely day and the kids loved playing with Grant as he incorporated goofing around as well as taking stunning candid pictures of the little ones.
Emma and Phils January Wedding in Whangarei Heads will always be remembered as a beautiful day. They got married in the secluded Smugglers Bay beach which is a special place for the both of them. It was such a hot day so luckily the guests came prepared with water and sun hats. The surrounding views on the hills above the beach was the perfect setting for the bridal party photos. The reception was held at the Whangarei Heads school, which gave us a lovely view of Mt Manaia, especially when the sun set and we were able to take some romantic photos. We enjoyed the relaxed and fun atmosphere of the wedding, thanks Emma and Phil, we loved photographing your special day!
